The importance of Safety in Blacklight Adventure
Your Safety is our Priority
We know the activities within Blacklight Adventure are fun filled and exciting, but at the same time understand that every aspect must be safe. Please see full details on the safety procedures within Blacklight Adventure.
Climbing Walls and Skywalk
To participate on our Climbing Walls all users must be aged 5 and above and for Skywalk 8 years and above. Participants will only be permitted on either activity if a correctly fitting harness is available. If in doubt, please ask for a harness to try before booking a session.
At the beginning of all sessions a Safety Brief will be carried out, which will contain full details of the activity you are about to take part in and its safety aspects. Harness fitting will also take place at this time.
To ensure you are able to take part in the session, you must arrive on time and participate in this brief. If you miss your Safety Brief, unfortunately you will not be allowed to take part in the activity.
A Health Declaration form must also be read and signed by a responsible adult if children are taking part, or by the adult themselves if they are a participant. Full details on our Health Declaration can be seen below.
For your safety, whilst playing adventure golf, you must;
- Keep the the paths and walkways
- Not climb on rocks
- Not swing putters above knee height
- Ensure children are supervised at all times
Adventure Golf Rules
- Split into Groups of 5 or less
- Maximum of 6 strokes per hole
- All players take first shot, before moving to their second
- If the ball goes out of bounds - replace it at point of exit and add one stroke
- Exit the hole before marking your scorecard
Adventure based activity is a physically active experience. Participation in this activity is purely voluntary. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that he / she is medically fit and able to take part in all activity within Blacklight Adventure.
We strongly encourage you to consult with a physician before participating in any physical activity to determine any potential conditions that may adversely affect your participation.
Participant may not participate in the programme if he or she has any medical (mental or physical) condition which may induce risk to him or herself or to other participants or staff. If you are in any doubt about your ability to participate, we advise you to speak to a member of staff.
By signing our Health Declaration Confirmation Document, the participant or responsible parent or guardian acknowledges there are no known health issues, medical concerns or conditions unstated which could interfere with the safety of the participant or the safety of others in this activity.
Additionally, by signing the Health Declaration Confirmation Document, the participant or responsible parent or guardian acknowledges that they have received, read fully and agree to comply with the Terms and Conditions of Hire and Customer Charter as laid down. If one parent or guardian accompanies multiple climbers under 18 that adult is responsible for the declaration of all climbers in their care.
Please note that Blacklight sessions expose participants to UV light and this may be a risk factor to those with photosensitive epilepsy.
